2K Games and developer Visual Concepts have revealed extensive details for NBA 2K27, including player ratings, gameplay enhancements, and new game modes. The title is scheduled for a global release on September 4, 2026, with early access beginning in late August.
Player ratings for the top 100 athletes have sparked significant debate. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama, and Nikola Jokic share the highest overall rating of 97. Other notable rankings include Jalen Brunson and Luka Doncic at 96, while LeBron James is rated at 91. Fans have expressed varying opinions on specific ratings, such as Scottie Barnes (88) and Jayson Tatum (93).
