NBA Finals Game 3 VIP tickets sold for $1 million, proceeds to Knicks charity

Two court‑side seats for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs were sold at auction for a total of $1 million. The winning bids were placed by law firm Gibson Dan and private‑equity firm Veritas Capital. All proceeds will be donated to the Knicks’ Garden of Dreams Foundation, the organization’s largest single contribution to date, which supports programs for children in the surrounding community.

The tickets are typically reserved for celebrities and are not offered for sale by the team; general‑public tickets for the same game have been reselling for over $6,000, while floor seats sell for more than $75,000. The Knicks lead the best‑of‑seven series 2‑0, with the next two games scheduled to be played at Madison Square Garden in New York.
