NBA players praise Denver Nuggets stars Jokić and Murray

Following a preseason matchup where the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 121-106, players have offered praise for the Nuggets' core talent. Lakers center Walker Kessler described Nikola Jokić as potentially the best player in the NBA and the league's premier big man, though Kessler noted he prefers Luka Dončić.

Denver Nuggets guard Tyus Jones also commented on the effectiveness of the Jokić and Jamal Murray duo. Jones highlighted Murray’s elite shot-making abilities and his ability to perform under pressure, noting that the two-man game between Murray and Jokić is a significant offensive threat for the team.
