NBA prepares for Media Day and training camp commencement

The NBA is preparing for the start of training camps, with Media Day scheduled for Monday for most teams. This event serves as a precursor to the commencement of practices on Tuesday. While Houston and Dallas held their media events early due to international preseason travel, the remaining 28 clubs will officially begin their media tours this Monday.

Several high-profile players are expected to make appearances, including LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, and Stephen Curry. Additionally, the league sees six coaches in new roles this season, such as Dusty May with the Dallas Mavericks, who is transitioning from a successful NCAA coaching career.

Amidst the preseason activity, Kawhi Leonard has addressed recent investigations involving his name, opting for a brief and direct response to avoid further controversy and maintain his focus on basketball. Meanwhile, speculation continues regarding Giannis Antetokounmpo and a potential future move to the Miami Heat.
