NBA roster shifts: Clippers face sanctions while Raptors acquire Kawhi Leonard

The Los Angeles Clippers are undergoing a significant roster reset following the departures of Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Ivica Zubac. The team has added players including Rui Hachimura and Brandon Ingram. Additionally, owner Steve Ballmer has been banned from courtside seating for one year as part of NBA penalties for circumventing salary cap rules, which also included the loss of five first-round draft picks.

In a related transaction, the Toronto Raptors acquired Kawhi Leonard through a trade involving Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, and multiple draft picks. Leonard has signed a two-year, $115 million extension with Toronto. The Raptors' roster features Scottie Barnes alongside Leonard, with Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett expected to start in the backcourt.
