Minnesota Timberwolves star LaMelo Ball has ignited an online discussion regarding parenting responsibilities after revealing he does not handle diaper changes for his nine-month-old son, LaOne. During an appearance on ‘Inside the NBA’, the 25-year-old athlete explained that he and his girlfriend, Ana Montana, have established a division of labor that works for their family.

Ball stated, “My girl do all that. It’s love, for sure,” and noted that the couple has a “good game plan going on.” While he clarified that he has changed diapers in the past, he reiterated that it is “just not my job.”

Ball and Montana, who also launched the nonprofit ‘I Am Fertility’ to support women undergoing IVF treatments, welcomed their son in January but did not publicly announce his birth until May.
