NBA teams have begun their annual Media Day activities as the 2026 season approaches. The Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks have already held their press conferences and are preparing to travel to China for the NBA China Games 2026, which include preseason games in Macau on October 9 and 11.

Los Angeles Lakers coach JJ Redick expressed optimism regarding his team's roster construction, noting that the players have clearly defined roles and a strong sense of positional requirements. Redick emphasized that the goal is to build a cohesive unit where individual talents complement one another rather than clashing.

During the Rockets' Media Day, player Steven Adams made a lighthearted prediction that professional sports performance across various leagues might dip in November due to the high anticipation surrounding the release of GTA VI. Additionally, Kevin Durant addressed discussions regarding his playing time, stating his desire to remain on the court whenever the team needs him.
