NBA teams expected to bring back popular City Edition jerseys

Reports indicate that several NBA teams are planning to bring back popular past City Edition uniform designs for the 2026-27 season.

The Detroit Pistons are expected to return to their 2021-22 City Edition jerseys. These red uniforms, which featured elements like lightning bolts and various historical team logos, were worn during Cade Cunningham’s rookie season.

Similarly, the Charlotte Hornets are reportedly set to resurrect their 2017-18 ‘Buzz City’ jerseys. The design features black uniforms with purple and teal accents, a look previously worn by players such as Kemba Walker and Dwight Howard.
