NBA teams prepare for 2026-27 season with roster moves

As the 2026-27 NBA season approaches, several teams are finalizing rosters and preparing for training camps.

In San Antonio, the defending Western Conference champions signed Miles Barnstable to an Exhibit 10 deal, while the Denver Nuggets signed Boopie Miller to a similar training camp contract. The Oklahoma City Thunder have also secured undrafted rookies Andrew Holifield and Robert McCray V to bolster their depth.

Team previews highlight significant roster shifts. The Utah Jazz are transitioning following a season marked by injuries to key players like Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler, and the trade of Jaren Jackson Jr. The New Orleans Pelicans have undergone notable changes, including the hiring of Jamahl Mosley as coach and the addition of Benedict Mathurin and AJ Johnson to a roster featuring Zion Williamson and Dejounte Murray.
