NBA teams finalize roster cuts ahead of regular season

Several NBA teams have made significant roster moves as the regular season approaches. The New York Knicks waived Tony Bradley, Ochai Agbaji, and Drew Eubanks, the latter of whom is sidelined with a torn pectoral muscle. This leaves James Wiseman and Bruce Brown competing for the final roster spot. Reports suggest the Knicks may also explore trades involving guard Tyler Kolek to facilitate further roster additions.

The Toronto Raptors converted Nate Bittle’s Exhibit 10 contract to a two-way deal while waiving Tyreke Key, Nimari Burnett, Tyson Degenhart, Jamarion Sharp, and Jalen Celestine. Bittle is currently recovering from a foot injury.

In Orlando, the Magic waived Malaki Branham, JD Davison, and Kevin Knox. These moves help the team manage its proximity to the second luxury tax apron.
