NBC cancels multiple long‑running shows as it revamps 2026‑27 schedule

NBC is overhauling its programming slate for the 2026‑27 television season, cancelling a range of primetime, daytime and syndicated series. The network confirmed the endings of Law & Order: Organized Crime, the drama Brilliant Minds, the comedy Stumble, as well as long‑running syndicated shows such as Access Hollywood, Access Daily, The Steve Wilkos Show, Karamo and The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The cancellations are part of a broader shift toward live sports, special events and new scripted projects. NBC announced four new dramas – Line of Fire, a modern The Rockford Files, Newlyweds and Sunset P.I. – plus a broadcast version of The Traitors and a primetime game show based on Wordle.
