NBC Chicago franchise updates for October 14

The NBC television series Chicago P.D. airs its second episode of Season 14, titled “Don’t Blink.” The episode marks a significant transition for character Kevin Atwater, played by LaRoyce Hawkins, as he faces a turning point regarding his future with the Intelligence unit. Hawkins’ departure as a series regular is highlighted in this installment, which is directed by Jesse Lee Soffer.

In the Chicago Med Season 12 episode “Third Rails,” the emergency department treats subway surfers with serious injuries. The plot involves a controversy regarding the unauthorized release of a former doctor’s private medical files, which was traced back to the chief nurse, Doris, after she observed the files on Sharon’s computer.
