NBC One Chicago franchise returns October 7

NBC has announced the return of its ‘One Chicago’ franchise on Wednesday, October 7. The primetime lineup will include Season 15 of Chicago Fire, Season 12 of Chicago Med, and Season 14 of Chicago P.D.

As the franchise prepares for the new season, cast changes have been noted. Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut, who has appeared as Dr. Naomi Howard since Season 9, will not return for Chicago Med’s 12th season. Chestnut indicated on social media that while she ‘would’ve loved to come back,’ she will not be returning to the series. Additionally, Chicago Fire has seen recent cast departures, including original member Joe Miñoso.
