NBC releases first look at comedy series ‘Newlyweds’

NBC has released first-look images for its upcoming comedy series, ‘Newlyweds’, starring Téa Leoni and Tim Daly. The multi-camera series follows a late-life romance between Jeanie, a free-spirited woman, and James, a straight-laced professor, who decide to marry impulsively following a whirlwind courtship.

The show was created by Gail Lerner in collaboration with Jamie Lee Curtis, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer. The cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis as James’ ex-wife, Emma Meisel and Ignacio Diaz-Silverio as Jeanie’s children, Bill O’Neill, and Al Madrigal.

‘Newlyweds’ is scheduled to premiere on Friday, October 23, at 8:30 PM ET/PT on NBC, with episodes becoming available on Peacock the following day. The series is a Universal Television production.
