NBC renews American Ninja Warrior for seasons 19 and 20

NBC has renewed the obstacle course competition series ‘American Ninja Warrior’ for seasons 19 and 20. The announcement follows the conclusion of season 18, which featured a new winner, 21-year-old Josiah Pippel. Pippel secured the $250,000 grand prize after competing in his sixth consecutive season.

Season 18 introduced the ‘Tripleheader,’ a three-lane racecourse designed for head-to-head competition. Upcoming productions for the new seasons are scheduled to film in Las Vegas later this year. Season 19 is expected to feature the return of the ‘Mt. Midoriyama’ course, while season 20 will include a ‘Summer of Champions’ event to celebrate the sport’s inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games.
