NBC Today Show broadcasts live from Kenmare, Ireland

The NBC Today Show conducted a massive logistical operation to broadcast its full four-hour program live from Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland. Sponsored by Tourism Ireland, the broadcast featured all seven main hosts, including Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Carson Daly, Dylan Dreyer, Sheinelle Jones, Jenna Bush Hager, and Craig Melvin.

The production involved dozens of personnel and 20 pallets of equipment. During the episode, hosts visited local pubs and engaged with the community. Tourism Ireland’s Director of Markets & Partnerships, Siobhan McManamy, noted that the advertising value generated by the broadcast is expected to be significant, aiming to support Ireland's goal of reaching €2 billion in revenue from the North American market.

While the show covered US news, the broadcast served as a major promotional event for the region, showcasing the scenery of County Kerry to a daily US audience reach of approximately 30 million.
