Nébih recalls Zagyvaparti smoked meat products
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) has ordered the recall of two Zagyvaparti brand smoked meat products due to microbiological deviations. The products were manufactured by Konkoly Hús Kft.
The affected items are:
• Zagyvaparti smoked spicy meat product (expiry: 2026.11.21, batch: 21.11.2026) • Zagyvaparti smoked delicacy meat product (expiry: 2026.11.22, batch: 22.11.2026)
Authorities advise consumers to check the packaging for these specific batch numbers and expiration dates. If the products match, they should not be consumed, as microbiological contamination can cause gastrointestinal issues such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and fever. Consumers are encouraged to return the products to the place of purchase for a refund.
