NCAA Football: Texas Tech vs. Colorado and BYU vs. TCU Previews

Upcoming NCAA football matchups feature Texas Tech against Colorado and BYU against TCU.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are scheduled to face the Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field on October 3. Statistical data shows Texas Tech holds a 4-0 record while Colorado sits at 2-2. In their 2024 meeting, Colorado defeated Texas Tech with a score of 41–27.

In another matchup, no. 10 BYU travels to Fort Worth to face the TCU Horned Frogs. Advanced metrics suggest BYU may have an advantage due to their efficiency in the redzone, where they rank fourth nationally in touchdowns per scoring territory drive. This offensive capability is expected to test a TCU defense that has been effective at preventing points but has allowed significant yardage.
