NCAA to host unified Women’s Lacrosse Championships in 2027 and 2028

The NCAA has announced that for the first time, the finals of all three NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championships—Division I, II, and III—will be held at a single site.

Towson, located in the Baltimore metropolitan area, is scheduled to host the championships at Johnny Unitas Stadium from May 28-30, 2027. Subaru Park, the home of the Philadelphia Union MLS franchise, will host the championships in 2028. Subaru Park was originally slated to host the 2027 event, but a scheduling conflict necessitated the change.

The decision to unify the championship sites was reached after discussions between the Division I Women’s Lacrosse Oversight Committee and the Division II and Division III Women’s Lacrosse Committees, who agreed the move would benefit the sport.
