NCB launches Signature Savings deposit and wins credit‑card innovation award

Vietnam’s National Commercial Bank (NCB) introduced the NCB Signature Savings account, the first deposit product that links to the Sun Signature ecosystem. Starting 1 July, customers who open a six‑month term account with a minimum deposit of VND 100 million earn Sun Signature points that can be redeemed for travel, resort stays, theme‑park entry, health‑care services and other premium benefits offered by Sun Group. The points are calculated based on the deposit amount, term length and other criteria, and can be managed through the NCB iziMobile app.

In July, NCB’s Visa Tự Hào credit card was named “Credit‑Card Initiative of the Year” at the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards 2026 in Singapore. The award, judged by experts from Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC and others, recognized the card’s modern payment features, contact‑less and virtual‑card options, cashback on cultural and tourism purchases, and a charitable‑donation component that adds VND 3,000 to a charity wallet for every VND 1 million spent. “The award confirms our focus on technology, creativity and Vietnamese cultural value,” said Tạ Kiều Hưng, board member and CEO of NCB.
