NCCE conducts media training in CRR North for 2026 elections

The National Council for Civic Education (NCCE) has concluded a two-day capacity-building training session in Wassu, CRR North, aimed at media practitioners, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs).

The training focused on preparing stakeholders for the upcoming December 5, 2026, Presidential Election. Key thematic areas included responsible communication to ensure accurate and ethical reporting, digital responsibility to counter misinformation and hate speech, and community engagement to promote social cohesion.

Participants, including representatives from traditional and new media, were encouraged to promote political tolerance and respectful dialogue to ensure a peaceful electoral cycle.
