NCDMB and Zigma Limited graduate 50 Nigerians from crane operation training program
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) partnered with Zigma Limited to complete a four‑week Crane Operations Operator Level I and II training programme. Fifty Nigerian participants graduated after intensive classroom and practical sessions covering crane operating principles, equipment inspection, load handling, signalling, risk management and health, safety and environment standards.
The initiative, funded by NCDMB, aims to build a skilled workforce for Nigeria’s oil and gas, construction and industrial sectors and to strengthen implementation of the Nigerian Content Act. Executive Secretary Felix Omoshola, represented by board officer Halvin Okonmah, said the board remains committed to developing human capital and expanding technical opportunities for Nigerians. Zigma Managing Director Funmi Ogbue, represented by COO Ojinika Mba‑Kalu, highlighted the programme’s role in fostering safety, excellence and local capacity development.
