Ncell and BYD distributor partner for connected vehicle services in Nepal

Ncell has entered into a partnership with Cimex Inc, the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Company in Nepal, to provide Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity for BYD vehicles.

Under this agreement, BYD vehicles sold in Nepal will be equipped with an Ncell IoT SIM. This integration is designed to provide in-vehicle internet connectivity, supporting the BYD app ecosystem and various infotainment features. Drivers will be able to access digital services and entertainment, such as YouTube and Spotify, directly through the vehicle’s system without the need for external mobile hotspots or Wi-Fi devices.

The availability of specific features will depend on the vehicle model, software, and services available in the region. Both new and existing BYD vehicle owners may be able to access the IoT SIM through authorized service centers. The partnership aims to enhance smart connectivity, safety, and intelligent mobility through Ncell’s nationwide network coverage.
