Nchout Njoya Ajara joins Lekié FC in Cameroon

Cameroonian international striker Nchout Njoya Ajara has signed with Lekié FC, marking her return to the domestic league after more than a decade playing at high levels in Europe and the Gulf.

Despite receiving four or five offers from clubs in France, Australia, and Saudi Arabia—including interest from Al-Nassr and Marseille—the 33-year-old stated that her decision was a ‘choice of heart.’ Ajara expressed a desire to contribute to the development of Cameroonian women's football and share her experience within the Guinness Super League. She noted her long-standing admiration for Lekié FC and credited the club's president for her decision to return home.
