NCIS: New York features return of Sam Hanna

The CBS spinoff ‘NCIS: New York’ is expanding the franchise by bringing back Special Agent Sam Hanna, played by LL Cool J, from ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’. In this new iteration, Sam returns to his hometown of New York following the death of a friend. He is paired with agent Nick Schaeffer and operates under the permission of Agent-in-Charge Robyn Wells.

The series is described as having a slicker, spy-esque tone compared to previous entries. The second episode, titled ‘Family Business’, is scheduled to air on Tuesday, October 13. The plot involves a jewelry store robbery involving military explosives that results in the death of a jeweler’s son.

In the United States, the show airs on CBS and is available for streaming on Paramount+. In Canada, the series is carried by Global TV, with episodes available on STACKTV and Paramount+ Canada.
