NCIS: Origins Season 3 to resolve 20-year mystery
The third season of the prequel series NCIS: Origins is set to premiere on October 6th, featuring a major storyline arc involving Mark Harmon. Harmon will appear in all 10 episodes of the season, portraying Leroy Jethro Gibbs across two distinct timelines.
Showrunner David J. North confirmed that the season will finally resolve a 20-year mystery regarding the character's history with Lala. The narrative will bridge the present day, where Gibbs' retirement in Alaska is interrupted, and 1992, focusing on his early days at Camp Pendleton.
Episode two, titled “My Own Worst Enemy,” is scheduled for release on October 13th. The episode will feature a 1992 storyline where the character Woody faces a murder allegation, while the present-day plot involves Gibbs returning to civilization to seek assistance from an old friend.
