NCP leaders reject BJP alliance talks, pledge loyalty to Sharad Pawar

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) veteran Ekhand Khadse confirmed a recent trip to Delhi but said he has no intention of re‑joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating, “I have no interest in joining BJP and will stay with Sharad Pawar till the end.” His remarks came amid media speculation about a possible return to the BJP and meetings with senior BJP leaders.

NCP MP Supriya Sule also dismissed reports of any alliance or merger with the BJP, saying, “There is no discussion of an alliance with BJP.” She clarified that the party will not join the National Democratic Alliance and that internal talks about merging the party’s two factions have ended. Both leaders emphasized their continued commitment to Sharad Pawar and the NCP’s independent political course ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
