NCT WISH draws 30,000 fans at Taipei Arena opening ceremony for Wei Chuan Dragons

South Korean–Japanese K‑pop group NCT WISH served as the opening‑ceremony guest for the Wei Chuan Dragons at Taipei Arena on 1 August. All six members – SION, RIKU, YUSHI, JAEHEE, RYO and SAKUYA – performed after the baseball game, delivering a set that included “pop pop”, “Hands Up”, “Miracle” (a Super Junior cover) and “COLOR”. The concert attracted more than 30,000 spectators, many of whom responded to the group’s Mandarin greetings and expressions of love for the Dragons, who also won the game.

The members repeatedly noted their excitement and nervousness about the first‑time appearance, with SION commenting that the crowd exceeded his expectations. JAEHEE hinted at a future visit to Taiwan, suggesting a possible two‑year anniversary fan meeting. The event marked NCT WISH’s debut at the venue and highlighted the growing popularity of K‑pop acts in Taiwan’s live‑music scene.
