N’Djamena police seize large stock of unfit meat

Municipal sanitary police in N’Djamena have seized a large quantity of meat deemed unfit for human consumption. During an inspection in the 3rd arrondissement of the central market, authorities discovered meat showing advanced signs of decomposition. Some of the products were reportedly wrapped in shrouds and stored in conditions that violated basic food hygiene standards.

Following the initial discovery, investigations by the Direction des Affaires Économiques et Sociales (DAES) led officers to a second stock of meat stored in a container in the 1st arrondissement. The individuals involved in the storage and potential commercialization of these dangerous products have been apprehended and handed over to the Judicial Police for further investigation.
