Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma pleads guilty to firearms offenses in South Africa

Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, a British citizen wanted by UK police for the murder of his wife and two daughters, has pleaded guilty to firearms and immigration offenses in South Africa.

Tshuma pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, and an immigration offense as part of a plea deal in Johannesburg. He was arrested in July following an Interpol notice. South African authorities intend to extradite him to the United Kingdom once his local legal proceedings are complete.

In the UK, prosecutors intend to charge Tshuma with three counts of murder. His wife, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, and their daughters, Natalie, 15, and Nala, 5, were found dead in their home near Bedford on July 6 with head injuries. Investigators believe Tshuma fled the UK via Zimbabwe before arriving in South Africa.
