NDR announces August 2026 talk‑show guests including Emanuel Meshvinski and Barbara Schöneberger

Germany’s public broadcaster NDR has released the guest line‑up for its two daily talk‑show programmes in August 2026. On 5 August, the long‑running show “DAS! Rote Sofa” will be hosted by Bettina Tietjen and feature composer and conductor Emanuel Meshvinski, artistic director of the Jewish Chamber Orchestra Hamburg. The programme, which airs live from Hamburg at 18:45, continues its tradition of mixing current news with cultural interviews.

The broader “NDR Talk Show”, which airs three times a month in a two‑hour slot, will see Barbara Schöneberger and Hubertus Meyer‑Burckhardt moderating the 7 August edition. Additional guests across the month include a mix of actors, musicians, entrepreneurs and artists, reflecting the show’s focus on diverse talent and personal stories. Both programmes are available shortly after broadcast via the ARD‑Mediathek.
