German television talk shows announce September schedules and guests

Several German television talk shows are scheduled with diverse programming and guests for early September 2026.

On September 8, the ZDF talk show ‘Markus Lanz’ will focus on the political consequences of the state election in Sachsen-Anhalt. Guests include CDU official Sepp Müller, journalist Eva Quadbeck, and journalists Julius Betschka and Justus Bender. Discussions will cover the role of the CDU in the state parliament and the strategic positioning of the AfD.

Other scheduled programming includes NDR’s ‘DAS! Rote Sofa’, featuring comedian Jan van Weyde on September 8, and a temporary programming shift for the ‘NDR Talk Show’. On September 11, the Radio Bremen format ‘3nach9’ will host guests including former SPD minister Björn Engholm and physician Marianne Koch.

Additionally, the ‘NDR Talk Show’ will return on September 18 with guests such as YouTuber Johannes Mickenbecker, actor Friedrich Mücke, comedian Tahnee, and filmmaker Tom Tykwer.
