Nduruma Health Centre receives major infrastructure upgrades in Tanzania
Dr. Johannes Lukumay, Member of Parliament for Arumeru West, has commended President Samia Suluhu Hassan and government officials for significant investments in the healthcare sector, specifically highlighting improvements at the Nduruma Health Centre.
During a visit to the Nduruma area, Dr. Lukumay noted that the facility has been upgraded to provide essential services, including emergency obstetric surgery, digital X-ray radiology, ultrasound, and laboratory testing. He stated that these developments allow citizens to access modern medical care locally rather than relying on distant referral hospitals.
Dr. Lukumay further noted that since the current administration took office, the government has constructed 119 district hospitals, 179 health centres, and 700 dispensaries to strengthen both preventive and curative healthcare services.
