Nea Makri: Car crashes into pharmacy causing heavy damage

An elderly driver caused significant property damage after losing control of her vehicle and crashing into a pharmacy in Nea Makri, Greece. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on Marathonos Avenue.

According to reports, the driver was attempting to park in front of the pharmacy when she mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. The vehicle gained speed, smashed through the storefront glass, and came to a stop among the interior shelving.

At the time of the collision, two employees and a child were inside the pharmacy. Despite the force of the impact, no injuries were reported among the people present. Three customers had reportedly left the premises just minutes before the accident occurred.
