Nea Salamina and Anorthosis draw 2-2 in friendly match

Nea Salamina and Anorthosis Famagusta played to a 2-2 draw in a friendly match held at the Ammochostos-Epistrofi Stadium.

Nea Salamina took an early lead in the first half through Poveda, who scored with a placement inside the penalty area in the 6th minute. Anorthosis improved significantly after the break, with Konstantinos Sergios equalizing in the 46th minute following a pass from Mario Ilias.

Anorthosis then took the lead in the 57th minute when Evagoras Charalambous scored with a header from a Kiko corner. However, Nea Salamina responded immediately, with Alexis Michael scoring a header in the 59th minute to level the score. The tempo of the match slowed in the final stages following numerous substitutions by both coaches.
