Nea Salamis defeated Apollon Limassol 3-1 in their final friendly match before the start of the new football season. The scoring for Nea Salamis was provided by Youssif via a penalty, followed by a header from Michail and a goal from Aldair.

Apollon Limassol managed to equalize early in the second half through an Ozbolt penalty.
