Neagley spin-off renewed for second season following Prime Video success

Amazon MGM Studios has renewed the Prime Video spin-off series ‘Neagley’ for a second season following the significant success of its debut. The first season, which premiered on September 16, 2026, reportedly attracted 40 million viewers worldwide within its first 13 days, placing it among the most-watched seasons on the platform.

Set in the universe of the ‘Reacher’ series based on Lee Child’s novels, the show stars Maria Sten as Frances Neagley. While an official release date for season two has not been announced, production timelines suggest a potential 2028 debut. Co-showrunners Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton are set to return, ensuring continuity in style and tone. The series follows the character as a private detective based in Chicago, offering a different narrative dynamic than the main ‘Reacher’ series.
