Neagley spin-off series debuts on Prime Video

Prime Video has released the first season of ‘Neagley’, a spin-off series from the ‘Reacher’ franchise. Starring Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, the show follows the former military operative in her new role as a private investigator based in Chicago. Unlike the nomadic nature of the original series, this spin-off focuses on Neagley’s personal life, her struggle with haphephobia, and her investigation into the suspicious death of a childhood friend.

While Prime Video has not yet officially renewed the series for a second season, co-creator Nicholas Wootton and actress Maria Sten have expressed confidence in its future. Wootton indicated that a second season's plot involving the disappearance of a character's brother is already written. Fans on social media have reacted positively, with some suggesting the spin-off's pacing and character depth surpass the fourth season of ‘Reacher’.

Jack Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson, is expected to make guest appearances, though the series is designed to allow Neagley to stand as a lead in her own right.
