Neal Sugarman confirmed for Purple Weekend Estrella Galicia 2026

Three-time Grammy winner Neal Sugarman has been announced as a performer for the 37th edition of the Purple Weekend Estrella Galicia festival in León. Sugarman will perform with his new formation, the Neal Sugarman Organ Combo, delivering a live mix of jazz, soul, funk, boogaloo, and Hammond B3 sounds.

Sugarman is a co-founder of Daptone Records and a member of The Dap-Kings. His ensemble for the festival includes Israeli guitarist Ron Magril, German organist Thomas Bauser, and Swiss drummer Claudio Strüby.

Joining the lineup is the Cádiz-based group La Perra Blanco, who will present songs from their latest work, ‘Lovers And Fears’. Other confirmed artists include Los Negativos. The festival organizers expect to complete the lineup in the coming weeks.
