NEAR Protocol launches NEAR Business platform for enterprises

NEAR Protocol has launched ‘NEAR Business’, a digital asset management and payment platform designed for corporate use. The platform allows businesses to manage assets across more than 35 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, through a single dashboard. Key features include integrated payroll processing, vendor payments, and asset exchange.

A primary focus of the platform is privacy. Unlike public blockchains where transaction details are visible to all, NEAR Business allows companies to keep sensitive financial data, such as salary payments and fund allocations, confidential. Access to these records can be restricted to authorized parties like auditors and boards of directors.

Despite the launch, the NEAR token has experienced price volatility. While the platform announcement initially triggered a price surge, the token later faced downward pressure. This decline was attributed to technical analysis resistance levels and concerns raised by DFINITY founder Dominic Williams regarding the structural integrity and decentralization of NEAR’s ‘Confidential Intents’ privacy technology.
