Nebius Group stock rally prompts institutional investors and ChatGPT to reshuffle holdings

Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS) experienced a rapid 92% surge in its share price, which prompted the AI chatbot ChatGPT to trim its position. The chatbot sold 25 shares while retaining 100, citing an RSI of 68 that placed the stock in overbought territory and noting heightened competition from the Google‑Blackstone AI cloud venture.

Institutional investors also moved. Geode Capital Management lifted its stake to about 2.05 million shares, roughly 0.81% of the company and valued at $170 million. Other funds—including Harbor Advisors, KeyBank National Association, Blue Trust, WealthCare Investment Partners, and CWM—raised their holdings by small percentages during the fourth quarter. Overall, institutions and hedge funds now own about 90% of Nebius Group’s stock.
