Nebius Group unveils Echo AI agent and secures $775M debt for AI cloud expansion
Nebius Group announced the launch of Echo, an AI-driven interface that assists users with cloud console tasks, documentation queries, quota checks and workload orchestration. The demonstration showed Echo creating a virtual machine on an H100 GPU after user approval. The rollout also introduced a managed SkyPilot service, enabling customers to run AI workloads without self‑hosting the control plane, and new budgeting and key‑management tools aimed at enterprise readiness.
In parallel, Nebius closed a $775 million senior secured debt facility priced at Term SOFR + 2.50% with a 2030 maturity. The asset‑backed loan is secured by cash flows from the company’s GPU infrastructure and backed by more than $40 billion in contracted customer commitments. Proceeds will be used to scale GPU clusters and accelerate the full‑stack AI cloud platform, following the company’s recent rebrand from Yandex N.V. after divesting its Russian assets and listing on NASDAQ under the ticker NBIS.
