Nebius launches AI Cloud 3.6 with Echo agent and appoints Middle East‑Africa VP

Nebius released Aether 3.6, the latest quarterly update of its Nebius AI Cloud platform. The upgrade introduces Nebius Echo, an AI‑driven infrastructure assistant that lets users manage cloud resources through natural‑language commands, running on open‑source models hosted on the company’s Token Factory. Aether 3.6 also adds a Managed Service for SkyPilot, new security and governance tools—including a customer‑managed key service, cryptographic erasure and Workload Identity Federation—and significant storage enhancements such as local SSDs for GPU servers, an Intelligent Object Storage class and up to 100 × higher IOPS for metadata‑heavy workloads.

The company opened early preview of its Builder Program and launched a certification track for AI Cloud Operations. In parallel, Nebius announced the appointment of Raja Agrawal as Vice‑President for the Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai, to lead go‑to‑market strategy across enterprises, governments and research institutes in the region.

These announcements signal Nebius’s push to expand both its AI cloud product offering and its geographic presence.
