Nebraska Athletics updates on women’s basketball and softball programs

Nebraska Athletics has announced the upcoming Sizemore Sportsmanship Pep Rally, which will precede the women’s basketball season opener against San Jose State on November 2 at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Schools interested in participating must register by October 19. Last year’s event drew a record 83 schools and over 3,900 students.

In softball, head coach Rhonda Revelle is overseeing a roster rebuild following a record-breaking season that included 52 wins and a Women’s College World Series appearance. The team has added 10 new players to the roster and is currently working through its fall schedule, having recently completed a doubleheader sweep against Kansas.
