Nebraska Cornhuskers defeat Ohio 49-21 behind late scoring surge

Wide receiver Jacory Barney Jr. attributed the comeback to an ‘attack mentality’ directed by offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen. Barney noted that the team focused on avoiding self-inflicted errors and penalties that had hindered their early performance. He emphasized that the offense chose not to be conservative, allowing them to capitalize on the momentum.

The victory was also supported by the performance of the running backs, including Jamal Rule, Mekhi Nelson, and Isaiah Mozee. Barney highlighted how their intense running style forced safeties to adjust, creating opportunities for big plays, such as a 51-yard touchdown by Nelson.
