Nebraska high school football rankings and recruit updates
Nebraska high school football coaches have released their weekly rankings following the second week of the 2026 regular season. In Class A, Omaha Westside maintains the top position with a 3-0 record, followed by Millard South and Millard North. Class B rankings see Waverly holding the number one spot, while Class C-1 is led by Ashland-Greenwood.
In the recruiting landscape, members of Nebraska’s 2027 recruiting class have demonstrated strong early-season performances. Trae Taylor, the nation’s top-ranked quarterback from Millard South, recorded over 400 all-purpose yards and six scores in a recent outing. Safety commit Tory Pittman III of Millard North has recorded five touchdowns and significant defensive statistics, while wide receiver Khalil Taylor has also emerged as a standout performer for Pine-Richland.
