Spikes Under the Lights volleyball tournament to debut at AT&T Stadium

The inaugural Spikes Under the Lights women’s volleyball exhibition tournament will take place this Thursday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event features four top collegiate programs: Nebraska, Penn State, Florida, and SMU.

The tournament follows a best-of-three-set format. The semifinal matches will feature Nebraska against Florida and Penn State against SMU, with the winners meeting in a championship match. A $1 million prize pool will be divided among the participating teams, with the tournament winner receiving the largest share. The event is scheduled to be broadcast live on TNT and will include a concert between the semifinal and championship rounds.

Nebraska enters the event as a highly ranked contender, led by players such as Harper Murray and Andi Jackson. Penn State and SMU also bring significant momentum, while Florida enters a rebuilding phase under coach Ryan Theis.
