Nebraska volleyball maintains perfect record with win over FGCU

In recent collegiate sports action, the No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team maintained its perfect record, moving to 10-0 following a 3-1 victory over FGCU. The Huskers demonstrated defensive dominance with a 16-4 advantage in blocks and a season-best scoring run of 12 consecutive points in the first set. Teraya Sigler led the offense with 13 kills.

Prior to the FGCU match, Nebraska defeated No. 25 North Carolina 3-1. While UNC managed to take the second set, Nebraska controlled the opening, third, and fourth sets.

In other matchups, No. 25 North Carolina secured a 3-1 win over FGCU to conclude their non-conference play, led by Jackie Taylor’s nine kills and nine blocks. Meanwhile, in volleyball, East Carolina earned a 3-0 sweep against Campbell. In football, Campbell University defeated North Carolina A&T 42-14, marking their first CAA opener win since joining the league, highlighted by JJ Cowan’s 185 total yards and three touchdowns.
