Nebraska volleyball tops Big Ten preseason poll; three seniors on AVCA watch list

Nebraska's women's volleyball program was voted the unanimous preseason favorite in the Big Ten, with seniors Andi Jackson, Harper Murray and Bergen Reilly earning spots on the preseason All‑Big Ten team. The Huskers have captured at least a share of the conference title for the past three seasons and entered the 2025 campaign off a 33‑1 record under coach Dani Busboom Kelly.

All three seniors also appeared on the America Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Player of the Year preseason watch list. Jackson was the AVCA Middle Blocker of the Year, Murray a three‑time All‑American outside hitter, and Reilly the AVCA Setter of the Year and Big Ten Player of the Year in the previous season.
