NEC Africa has appointed Phillip Nganga as its Regional Manager for East Africa. Nganga, who has been with the organization since May 2012, will oversee business performance and sustainable growth across the region.
The appointment is part of a strategy to strengthen local leadership as the company expands its African operations. Nganga’s strategy focuses on a customer-centric approach, aiming to expand the customer base, strengthen partnerships, and broaden the company’s portfolio of solutions.
Key areas for investment and growth include digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise technology, and energy. The company expects demand to be driven by governments, financial institutions, telecommunications, manufacturing, and the oil and gas sectors. Nganga identified Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Rwanda as markets with significant potential for deeper engagement.
